In 2015, Solid Floors installed 1800m2 of Flowcrete resin floor coatings in Giltrap Motors’ new HQ at 119 Great North Road, Auckland. 

Solid Floors was engaged by Giltrap Motors to specify and install a high-performance resin floor coating system in the new Lamborghini, Bentley & Aston Martin workshop areas. 

With a design brief that included a flooring system that matched the prestige of the brands, Solid Floors specified Flowcrete’s Flowshield ESL, a 3mm self-levelling epoxy system to create a super smooth, high build resin surface. 

A finish coat of Deckshield UV urethane was applied as a protective wear coat, offering a high level of UV and chemical resistance, extending the life cycle of the floor. A fine non-slip additive was added to provide an additional level of slip resistance at the request of the client. 

Solid Floors has since completed a number of projects for the Giltrap Group, installing high-quality flooring systems in the McLaren workshop (3mm ESL) and the Giltrap Race Workshop (Polished concrete floor refurbishment)
