Drawing on a decade of management experience, Scott’s responsibility is to manage the company and make sure that the key people within the Solid Floors divisions are attending to Project and Customer needs.  

Scott is normally the first point of contact as Grant and Wayne are always busy working and managing their teams for performance and completion of contracts.  Scott’s role also extends to project management, business development and compliance.

Floor preparation and polishing are areas he’s passionate about and he was a founding member of the diamond grinding and polished concrete industry in NZ.  He is arguably New Zealand’s leading concrete floor grinding specialist and is responsible for training the Solid Floors team.

Having worked with the company for the last seven years, Derek has transferred up through the ranks to become Operations Manager for Solid Floors.

He has in depth knowledge of what is required to successfully complete contracts in both the Grinding and Specialist Coatings Division.  These strengths have been gained at the coal face while working on many and varied Projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.

Recent success with the HTC Superfloor concept has lead to a full time team being created to look after this exciting new technology to Polished Concrete. Solid Floors has invested in the latest technology from HTC. Nathan and his team have successfully installed 40000+ sq meters of HTC Superfloor for many happy customers ranging from large industrial workshops through to Supermarkets and high end showrooms throughout the upper half of New Zealand....

Mick’s ability to lead our well trained team of guys and solve problems along the way has long been evident in the specialist coating and application of new technology systems.

Often referred to as Dad by the boys, he has a wealth of knowledge gained on projects he has worked on within Australia and New Zealand over the last 25 years.  His attitude of IT WILL BE RIGHT rather than SHE’LL BE RIGHT is invaluable.  The guys always appreciate his home cooking when working around the country after a hard day at the coal face...
